LAND LINES SIGNS to MISRA + GREATER THAN / FALL TOUR w/NATHANIEL RATELIFF and the NIGHT SWEATS!!!

Hello Friends,

GREAT NEWS! We are pleased to announce that Misra Records and Denver's very own, Greater Than Collective (Illegal Pete's), will be re-releasing our most recent album, The Natural World, on August 21st, 2015.

Of course, many of you know that earlier this year, Land Lines independently released The Natural World with the help of a Kickstarter crowd-funded campaign, thanks to many of you.  By signing with Misra/Greater Than, the album will now be distributed nationally and throughout parts of Europe by Redeye Worldwide and licenced through Sup Pop Licensing.

As a part of our campaign of re-releasing The Natural World with Misra/Greater Than, Land Lines will perform at Denver's own Hi-Dive on Friday, October 23rd and will then follow Denver heroes, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, on a Fall tour through the Midwest and the East Coast. See the tour schedule below, or go to nathanielrateliff.com for ticket information. Dates may be subject to additions or changes.

The sound over the course of the 25-minute piece morphs from droning pulses to otherworldly chants, orchestral shimmers to trumpet fanfares and more. Special events supplement the experience of ‘Ghost Light’ with live music and additional compositions.

MAY 28 // BOETTCHER CONCERT HALL

On Thursday, May 28th, LAND LINES will be performing our very own songs with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.  Tom Hagerman, of DevotchKa, our pal and cohort, has been responsible for writing arrangements of our music for the string section of the CSO. We are over the moon with excitement and can hardly believe we've been given this amazing opportunity!  Click here for tickets and more information: Turn Over The Keys

''In this innovative program, the Colorado Symphony turns over the keys to Boettcher to artists from Denver’s thriving local music scene to create a varied and original program of new music. Emerging Colorado artists Ian Cooke, Land Lines, and Megan Burtt will perform individual sets with musicians from the Colorado Symphony, each with a unique style, sound, and symphonic approach. Longtime Colorado Symphony collaborator Jay Clifford, leader of the seminal South Carolina-based band Jump Little Children, and Tom Hagerman of DeVotchKa will work with each artist to create original orchestral arrangements of their music for a full complement of string players, with Clifford also joining in on the collaborative performance."

APRIL 24 // MCHNICHOLS CIVIC CENTER BLDG

WE'D LIKE TO APOLOGISE!

Hello friends,

If you happened to attend our scheduled show on Feb 19th at the Bluebird Theater in hopes to see Land Lines perform, we want to apologize to you for not being there.

Martina has had a rather unpleasant cold that led to several days of laryngitis up through the scheduled show, and we decided not to risk any more damage to her voice. Please do come to our next show on March 12th in Fort Collins at Surfside 7, or on March 13th in Denver at the Hi-Dive with Inner Oceans.  We will make it up to you by playing our hearts out.

With Love,

Land Lines
